"A fresh and fruit-driven blend of 50% Malbec mostly from Vista Flores and 50% Bonarda from Santa Rosa. It has great purity of fruit, perfectly showcased here through the classical aromas of carbonic maceration. The palate is juicy, with a notable absence of tannin. "

"The Catena Malbec Appellation Vista Flores shows a dark violet color with black reflections. The nose offers ripe, concentrated dark and red fruit aromas with delicate floral notes of lavender and violet, and mocha. The mouthfeel is rich and full with notes of sweet spice and a touch of leather. The finish presents soft, well-integrated tannins with bright, crisp acidity that gives the wine exceptional length."

"The fresh, floral and expressive 2016 Catena Malbec blends grapes from different parts of Mendoza: Lunlunta, Agrelo, Altamira El Cepillo and Gualtallary. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in French and American oak barrels for an average of 12 months. It's straight and a little austere but has deep flavors. Superb quality for the price and volume."

"The 2016 Q Malbec was sourced mostly from Altamira but has some grapes from Chacayes. It fermented with 50% full clusters in concrete vats, and some 30% of the wine aged in used 225- and 500-liter oak barrels. The oak is unnoticeable, and in fact,it is pure, strict, raw and characterful, with plenty of fine-grained, chalky tannins. I find it to be incredibly good and with an amazing price for what it delivers. Availability should also be very good, as they produced 350,000 bottles of it. This is one to buy by the case."

"TThe aromatic expression of the 2017 Concreto Malbec is completely different from the 2016. This is a lot more open, floral and gentle, with a more polished and sleek palate with more integrated acidity. A wine of tremendous energy, it was kept in concrete all its life (hence the name) until it was bottled. 25,000 bottles were filled in December 2018, just before the next harvest."

"Flush, ripe berry and herbal notes come together well in this Malbec. It’s fresh and bustling on the palate, with energy and primed acidity. Dark, spicy plum and berry flavors are lightly herbal and come with tones of chocolate and oak."
