"From the same winery as the dry Botani, the incredibly perfumed, floral 2011 Victoria No. 2 is a delicious dessert wine that possesses about 13% natural alcohol. Made from 100% Moscatel de Alexandria, 17 pounds of grapes are required to make one 375 ml bottle. This raisiny, rich, thick dessert wine’s fragrance could fill a large room. This amazing creation should be served chilled at the end of a meal with nothing next to it. It should last for 6-10+ years."

"This is probably the only totally dry 100% Muscat de Alexandria made in Malaga, where this grape is used for sweet wine production. To give you an idea how much I love this wine, for the wedding of my goddaughter, held near Pittsburgh last summer, I purchased five cases of the 2010 for her reception. Moreover, I bought an additional three cases of the newly released 2011 (reviewed here) for consumption in my home over the summer and early fall. The exotic aromatics could fill a small room, with notes of flowers, honeyed white citrus, melons and hints of more exotic tropical fruit such as mango and tangerine."

"Pale gold in the glass, with lively, small bubbles. The nose suggests clementine and touches of fresh cherries, an impressively complex and invigorating perfume. Fruity and fresh, medium-bodied and zesty on the tongue. The finish offers a hint of spice; pure, fetching and very refreshing."

"Saracco’s 2011 Moscato d’Asti wraps around the palate with serious depth and richness. Green apples, pears and white flowers flow through to the expressive, nuanced finish. Like most wines of the vintage, the 2011 is richer than normal, but there is no shortage of personality or pure class here. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014. "

"A terrific Albarino from vineyards planted in 1978 on granite and slate-based soils, the 2011 Columna Albarino exhibits exotic notes of pineapples, white peaches and honeysuckle, fresh acids, and medium-bodied, intense, concentrated, alluring flavors. Consume it over the next 1-2 years."
