"From a domaine located in Gigondas, this is a profound Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Yes, there's some toasty oak on the nose, but underneath is a big, sturdy core of dark cherries, bay leaf and garrigue. This is a structured wine that's built for the cellar. Drink 2018–2030."

"These old vines are planted in the area known as Les Blovac in Rasteau. The wine has deep dark color. In the bouquet different dark berries, with appealing spicy notes. A dense wine that flatters the palate. 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre"

"Solidly ripe, with an ample core of raspberry, plum and blackberry puree notes, pushed by a lively licorice edge. Lots of fruitcake and sweet spice accents coat the finish, showing good energy for balance. Best from 2017 through 2028. 5,000 cases made."

"This sports a plump core of strawberry and red currant notes, flanked with high-pitched rose water and floral accents. A pretty wet stone accent adds refreshing cut on the finish. Drink now. 20,000 cases made."

"Alluring, with a creamy feel to the mix of white peach, mango and white cherry fruit flavors that stay nicely defined on the finish, thanks to a subtle mineral edge. Drink now."

"Coming from the huge swath of vines located between Cairanne/Rasteau and Vacqueyras and Gigondas, the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu is primarily Grenache, yet incorporates 15% Syrah and 8% Mourvèdre. Aged all in concrete, it’s a medium to full-bodied, nicely textured red that has an earthy, herbal edge in its black fruits, tobacco, olive and earth-driven aromas and flavors. It has plenty of charm, yet I suspect it’s best enjoyed over the coming 2-4 years as well."

"Clearly one of the greatest values in the wine world. This wine shows loads of classic Grenache characteristics, such as pepper, licorice, underbrush, Provençal herbs and a boatload of black cherries and raspberries. The wine is rich, medium to full-bodied, pure and luscious and hedonistic. Drink it over the next several years."

"Deep ruby. Intense red fruit and floral pastille scents are complicated by suggestions of smoky minerals, garrigue and potpourri. Penetrating and appealingly sweet, offering juicy raspberry and lavender pastille flavors that put on weight and become spicier with air. Closes smooth, sappy and impressively long, featuring harmonious tannins and resonating florality. This is shaping up to be the best wine I've ever had from this estate."

"The 2014 Côtes du Rhône Reserve is a rock solid, peppery, Provençal effort that did well in the vintage. The Côtes du Rhône Reserve is slightly more elegant and floral than its sibling, the Côtes du Rhône Villages, which has more richness."
