"The 2016 The Big Easy is fabulous. Rich, powerful and flamboyant to its core the Big Easy hits the palate with tremendous fruit intensity. Super-ripe red cherry, raspberry jam, white chocolate, vanillin and new American oak shape this opulent Syrah/Petite Sirah/Grenache blend. Winemaker Blair Fox has dialed in a style that captures all the exuberance of past editions, but with more nuance than the Big Easy has ever shown. And I say that as someone who has never loved this wine. The 2016 is simply outrageously delicious."

"A vibrant core of black cherry, black currant, cedar and tobacco flavors is framed by refined, if dusty, tannins in this red. In need of a bit of polishing in the bottle. Shows fine length. Best from 2021 through 2036. 2,000 cases imported."

"This tremendous 100% varietal wine hails from Oakville and was aged over three years in oak. Juicy red-cherry fruit and a compelling hint of caramel greet the palate, framed by elegant, fine tannins and a subtle minty tone in the background. Balanced and rewarding from start to finish, it has years ahead of it to develop further nuance. Enjoy 2022–2030."

"The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is medium garnet-purple in color and opens with classic cassis and warm plums scents with hints of violets, menthol and mocha plus a waft of cedar chest. The palate is medium to full-bodied with velvety tannins and refreshing acid supporting the youthful black fruits, finishing on a lingering perfumed note. 765 cases produced."

"This admittedly huge wine offers tamed tannins, with a generous dose of spicy oak and a hint of sweetness that seem to absorb some of the astringency. It comes off as very concentrated and flavorful, showing an almost velvety texture."

"This is such a great buy from importer Michael Skurnik who turned to California for this wine. While supple in texture, the wine packs in dense red-cherry and ripe raspberry aromas and flavors that seem subtle at first but slowly open and expand with each sniff and sip. It has good layering and an excellent balance of moderate tannins and acidity."

"Appealingly old-school, with briary black cherry and smoky pepper beef flavors. A whiff of coconut helps build zestiness on the long finish. Drink now through 2024. 4,000 cases made."

"This medium-bodied red has an appealing, mouthcoating profile containing wild red berry, potpourri and clove notes that are fresh and vibrant. Tangy undertones lead into the fleshy, moderately tannic finish, marked by tea, herb and mineral elements. Drink now through 2023. 2,000 cases made."

"TThe aromatic expression of the 2017 Concreto Malbec is completely different from the 2016. This is a lot more open, floral and gentle, with a more polished and sleek palate with more integrated acidity. A wine of tremendous energy, it was kept in concrete all its life (hence the name) until it was bottled. 25,000 bottles were filled in December 2018, just before the next harvest."
