"The sweet cherry core is framed by dense, ripe tannins in this red. Leather, tobacco and iron notes add depth. The finish is fresh and long. Best from 2018 through 2030. 8,300 cases made."

"A ripe, rich and full-bodied red, with powerful flavors of dark cherry, plum pudding and currant that feature a lush creaminess. Firm and savory midpalate, ending with a long and refined finish that shows mineral and cocoa butter accents, supported by dusty tannins. Drink now through 2024. 7,850 cases made."

"The 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva is absolutely delicious. Ample and broad on the palate, the 2013 offers striking depth and texture throughout. Dark red cherry, plum, smoke, licorice, menthol and cloves give the 2013 its dark, enveloping personality."

"The top of the range is the 2013 Fabre Montmayou Grand Vin, which is a blend of mostly Malbec from Vistalba, with a little 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot from the old vines around the winery, their oldest vineyard. This is a classical Bordeaux blend with superb balance and elegance, with very good acidity and some spicy oak from 16 months in French oak barrels. The palate is medium to full-bodied with fine-grained tannins. This is ready now but has great concentration, freshness and balance for a slow and positive development in bottle."

"This is a less formal expression of Aglianico that can be consumed with barbecued meats like steak or pork chops. The 2014 Irpinia Aglianico RediMore shows soft edges with bright cherry followed by cinnamon and powdered mocha. This was a more difficult vintage with a wet and soggy summer growing season. In fact, the mouthfeel shows less volume and intensity as a result."

"This riveting wine displays the exceptional finesse and precision that fruit from this AVA can deliver. It's Pinot Noir expressed in the most subtle and demanding way. Beautifully orchestrated red fruits, sappy acids, lush spices, perfect balance and an immaculate mineral-soaked finish are all on display. Drink 2018 through 2030."

"Medium-bodied and stylish, with fine-grained tannins married to a rich palate of chocolate pudding, crème de cassis, dried marjoram and graphite notes. Lightly grippy, but refined overall. Nero d'Avola. Drink now through 2023. 5,000 cases made."

"This red opens with ripe plum and cherry fruit, yet it also has a brooding side. Firm tannins provide support, while earth and iron elements add depth. Best from 2018 through 2023. 17,000 cases made."

Lower price might be available!-->"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc) represents the least expensive wine in the Hall portfolio at $55. The color is a saturated purple, and the wine rich, chewy and unctuously textured, with ripe tannin and a round, juicy mouthfeel. For a generic Napa, it has plenty of upside to it and will actually benefit from several more years of bottle age and keep for 15-20 years."
