" Its opaque purple color is followed by copious aromas of blueberries, black raspberries, camphor, licorice, white flowers and a chalky limestone/dusty character. Full-bodied, rich and well-balanced, it is an incredible value."

"Corvina 100% Color: ruby red with purple glints. Aroma: flowery notes of red rose and sweet violet, fruity hints of cherry, wild black cherry, plum, fruits of the forest such as blackberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant and raspberry. Flavour: well-balanced, flavoursome and fresh. Intense and medium bodied despite its youth." ~Winery notes

"The fruit-focused aromas and flavors take center stage, while subtle vanilla-oak and mocha nuances from barrel aging linger in the background. The cool growing season enhanced this wine's supple structure of bright acidity and fine-grained tannins, making it immediately enjoyable with mellow cheeses and red meats, such as filet of beef tenderloin accompanied by a Yukon gold potato and fennel gratin."

"Fresh and open-textured, with prominent flavors of juicy plum and red berry, shaded with tea leaf notes as the finish lingers against lightly gritty tannins. Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and others. Drink now through 2017."

"The 2012 Cotes du Rhone Les Promesses is a decidedly plump, fruit-forward effort that gives up plenty of garrigue, sweet flowers and licorice-laced black raspberry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it’s a serious crowd-pleaser to drink over the coming couple of years. Drink now-2017."

"Possibly the best wine made in Listrac in 2010, this brilliant effort from proprietor Yves Raymond is a blend of 58% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Carmenere. Opaque purple in color, with a gorgeous nose of espresso roast, blackberry, cassis, incense and violets, the wine is deep, broad, savory, full-bodied, loaded with fruit, and has loads of glycerin and concentration as well as a terrific finish. This is classified-growth quality and should drink well for at least a decade or more."

"There is a smooth, polished feel to this balanced wine. Wood and blackberry flavors come together with mint and thyme to make a ready-to-drink wine. The tannins, while firm, are well integrated. Drink now and until 2020."
