"This is round and laced with cherry, currant, tobacco and iron flavors. Firms up quickly, with a fine matrix of tannins for support. Balanced overall, with a long finish of tobacco and iron. Best from 2020 through 2033. 12,500 cases made."

"It offers upfront, voluptuous levels of black raspberry, plum, violets and spring flowers. Full-bodied, decadent and a borderline big fruit bomb, it nevertheless has fabulous purity of fruit and good freshness. It’s a smoking value to drink over the coming 2-4 years"

"While obviously not a “cult” wine, this full-bodied bottling has just what the varietal should offer in terms of ripe fruit, spice, a firm and moderately tannic texture, and a mouthfilling presence. Its strengths lie in good balance, tempting layers of flavor and a lingering finish."

"Wood smoke and black pepper aromas start this full-bodied wine out with a bang. Lively, spicy blackberry and black cherry flavors contriubute richness on the palate, accented with toasty, savory, meaty overtones. Add its moderate tannins, and the overall effect is a generous, complex and interesting wine."

"Dark, rich color. On the nose there is floral blackberry and black currant with a hint of chocolate. Dry and earthy, on the palate, with a hint of old wood and a note of leather that emerges with air. Full bodied and structured."

"Deep ruby. Intense red fruit and floral pastille scents are complicated by suggestions of smoky minerals, garrigue and potpourri. Penetrating and appealingly sweet, offering juicy raspberry and lavender pastille flavors that put on weight and become spicier with air. Closes smooth, sappy and impressively long, featuring harmonious tannins and resonating florality. This is shaping up to be the best wine I've ever had from this estate."

"This lush wine offers true value, deeply flavored in strawberry and cherry. A tannic foundation supports the fruit beside black tea, clove and a twist of orange and cranberry, with a soft and smooth texture."

"The second vintage of this unoaked, groundbreaking Malbec. The nose is a little reticent, not explosive, a little backward, transmitting a sense of seriousness and harmony. But, the palate is electric, you really feel like you're licking the limestone-covered stones that you have in the vineyards. It ends with a dry, dusty sensation, avoiding sweetness at all cost. This is all texture and salinity. Maybe not for all, but I loved it. 20,000 bottles were produced."

"Bold, with dense notes of dark chocolate—covered coffee bean, plum paste, wild blackberry, cigar box and date bread. Expressive and generous. The velvety tannins linger. Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now through 2027. 8,500 cases made."
