"The clean, floral and 2017 Ultreia Saint Jacques comes mostly from old vineyards from different soils in Valtuille and Villadecanes fermented in stainless steel and oak vats with part of full clusters and matured in used barriques for one year. It's produced in a fresh and very drinkable way. This is one of the best values from Bierzo and Spain, and a great introduction to Bierzo. It's a more serious wine than what the wine was when it was first produced, fresh and elegant. It's very reliable and a great value. There are some 100,000 bottles that were filled in two production runs."

"This red is elegant and bursting with rose, strawberry, cherry, anise and flint flavors. Supple yet firm, balanced and poised for a fine evolution. Excellent length. Drink now through 2027. 3,500 cases made. "

"From Tautavel's limestone-rich soils, the 2016 Grand Terroir Tautavel is a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan, two-thirds of which went into barrel for nine months. It's more floral and perfumed than the Les Aspres bottling, but it's still creamy, lush and opulent, with ripe tannins and plenty of richness without excessive weight."

"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur (94 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot primarily from the Bergfeld Vineyard, but other St. Helena terroirs as well) has an inky purple color, a big, sweet kiss of crème de cassis, blackberries, licorice, and camphor. Full-bodied, opulent and fleshy, it can be drunk now in its exuberant youthfulness but promises to age gracefully for two decades or more."

"Lively and well-built, with expressive cherry, roasted dill and white pepper flavors that glide toward refined tannins. Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane and Grenache. Drink now through 2025. 15,750 cases made."

"This wine offers a deft mix of rose petal, baby powder and lychee aromas. There's plenty of spice, and, as it's bone dry, it matches well with peppery noodle dishes."

"The nose is fresh but shows complete restraint. The palate gently draws pure Comice pear fruit, its ripeness tempered with ample clean freshness. A streamlined precise slenderness characterizes this bone-dry, restrained and therefore utterly elegant Pinot Gris. It's a class act to drink from now through 2030."

"A silky, elegant style, with pretty raspberry and damson plum coulis notes gliding through, supported by soft red licorice and rooibos tea accents. The fruit gains depth through the anise-tinged finish. Drink now through 2030. 2,000 cases imported."

"Precise and impressively structured, with refined raspberry, crushed rock and savory tea accents that take on richness and depth toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2024. 4,000 cases made."
