"Sourced from several appellations, including the producer's heritage Russian River Valley site, this wine offers smoky oak, bacon and blackberry jam flavors. Thick and florally perfumed, it balances its brawnier side with spice."

"The 2012 Viña Real Reserva is a blend of mostly Tempranillo with Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano from Rioja Alavesa; it fermented in stainless steel and aged in new oak barriques for 22 months with rackings every four months. I found the whole Viña Real range pretty closed and backward, serious, with moderate oak and pretty good balance. There is good ripeness without any excess or signs of heat (it was a very dry year), with some floral aromas coming out with time in the glass. Fine and elegant, quite a surprise. "

"This wine has lovely aromas of violets and ripe cherries. It is soft on the palate, delicate, but with delightful impressions of raspberries and other red fruits"

"Beautifully textured, in the style of a Sancerre, with no influence from the oak, with a notable absence of herbal notes, as they avoided the clones that lend those aromas. Very food friendly, this wine is about the palate rather than the nose. Awesome value."

"The nose is clean and pure, with only 13% alcohol; they are harvesting earlier, with a soft vinification to keep the fruit profile and the freshness. It talks about the light from the Valle de Uco, pure and clean, with a beautiful nose with some floral aromas and some notes of aromatic herbs, and a vibrant palate (2016 was a cool vintage), juicy and very gulpable. You can serve it at 15 degrees Celsius with light foods. A Malbec of thirst. 500,000 bottles produced."

" This juicy red offers fresh flavors of cherry, blood orange and licorice. Light tannins and citrusy acidity give backbone to the round texture. Balanced and lively. Drink now through 2023. 5,000 cases made."
