"A lifted, ethereal note of bitter almond suggests the beginnings of evolution. The palate, on the other hand, still seems closed but displays a streamlined concentrated core of flawless dryness and precise bundled freshness. This is taut, precise and sure to develop. The finish is lasting, refreshing and clean. Drink now through 2030."

"Fragrant and intense, with honeysuckle, ginger and orange marmalade flavors, juicy lemon and pear notes and a smooth, lush texture. There's plenty of juiciness on the finish, and details of lemon verbena and apple blossom. Drink now through 2020. 150 cases imported."

"New leather, baked plum, truffle and fruitcake aromas rise up from the glass. It's rounded and full bodied, with velvety tannins that underscore fig, steeped prune, cinnamon, graphite and chewing tobacco. Fresh acidity lifts the rich flavors. Drink through 2023."

"This wine is aged in American oak and blended with 12% Petite Sirah. Concentrated blackberry fruit rides a foundation of soft, silky and well-integrated succulence, with touches of leather saddle, black pepper, smoke and brick. While full bodied, it manages to drink light on its feet."

"A barrel sample, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored, with a decadent cassis, baked blackberries and plum preserves-scented nose, plus hints of spice cake, cedar and Marmite toast. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and wonderfully spicy in the mouth, it has velvety tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long." 92-94 Oct2017

"A crazy value, the 2014 IGP Cotes Catalanes Tessellae Carignan Vieilles Vignes is one of the best examples of this variety from the Roussillon, and the fact that it sells for a song is just icing on the cake for the consumer. Coming all from schist soils and 70-year-old vines, raised 12 months in a mix of concrete tanks and demi-muids, it offers tons of black raspberry and black cherry fruit, licorice and dried spices to go with a super sexy, heady, seamless style on the palate that keeps you coming back to the glass. Drink this blockbuster over the coming 2-3 years."

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is 75.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec, aged in 89% new French oak. The wine displays the great fruit that is possible from these two sites owned by the Jacksons. It has an opaque purple color, a big, sweet kiss of crème de cassis and blackberry with a touch of lead pencil shavings, vanilla and incense. It is full-bodied and dense, with moderately high tannins but beautiful sweetness and fruit. Drink it over the next 25-30 years."

"A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Artemis (a barrel sample) is a deep garnet-purple color with a lovely nose of pure cassis and blackberries with earth and herbal notions plus violets and an exotic spice waft. Medium to full-bodied, taut and muscular in the expressive mouth, it has grainy tannins and a long finish."

" It has a bombastic nose of crushed blueberries and black currants with hints of vanilla pod, dried Provence herbs, lavender and cigar boxes. Medium to full-bodied, the palate simply sings with exuberant black and blue fruits, supported by grainy tannins and a refreshing backbone, finishing with a pleasant herbal lift."
